Directions for Use

First Use:

1. Remove cartridge packaging.

2. Grip the top of the cartridge and place it into the Harvest Right filter holder.

3. Press firmly until a tight seal is made.

Oil Filtration Steps:

1. Open the vacuum pump drain valve and allow oil to flow into the filter. Tilt pump slightly if needed.

2. Wait for oil to fully pass through the filter system.

3. After filtration, water separates and sinks to the bottom while clean oil floats on top.

4. Carefully pour off the oil and discard the water. Never pour water back into the vacuum pump.

5. Refill your vacuum pump with the filtered (or new) oil.

Replacement Guidelines

• Replace cartridges after ~15–20 uses (more frequently if oil quality is poor).

• Replace sooner if:

  • Oil won’t drain through the filter (clogging from debris).

  • Oil remains milky or filled with particles after filtration.

Clean oil should:

• Be free of debris/particulates

• Not appear milky or chalky

• Maintain clarity (yellow/amber color is normal)

• Allow pump to reach proper freeze drying vacuum pressure
